Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and Bookish. Each week features a different topic, and you make a top ten list about it. This week is the Top 10 Books Underrated Books
So, you probably have definitely heard me pimp out a lot of these before, because they are so underrated, in my opinion. (I also know there are 12 titles instead of 10) And definitely aren’t in an order.
The Explosionist by Jenny Davidson
Historical fiction is absolutely awesome, and The Explosionist is one of the best I have ever read.
Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken
I love high fantasy. This is the best one I’ve read in 5 years. Sydelle is a strong main character, and we follow her adventures along with the lovely swoonworthy North. It is marvelously written. For some reason this one seems to have slipped out of the masses attention, and I have no idea why. It is in my top 5 books, like ever. I know I talk about this one all the time, but I just love it so much and have a high desire for a sequel so I can have more North and Sydelle adventures.
Sea by Heidi R Kling
Breath-taking debut, epic love story, facing fears – what’s not to love? This is another one similar to Brightly Woven that I feel like I talk about all the time – but it just doesn’t get enough attention for how lovely it is.
Harmonic Feedback by Tara Kelly
I love this book. Drea is said to have a “touch of Asperger’s” and it’s a story about her and her passion for music.
Salvaged by Stefne Miller
Salvaged is one of those books that will stay with you forever and keep you thinking. It is one of those books that empowers you and makes you think that you can achieve things. Attie was in a car accident that killed her mom and best friend, she survived at the cost of a lot of injuries. Now back in Oklahoma where she is from, she has to deal with that and deal with the new insecurities caused by the scars left from the accident. It’s a story of healing and hope.
The Echorium Sequence by Katherine Roberts
This is a 3 book sequence that is HIGH FANTASY. It is epic. Almost no one I know has ever heard of these books, which shocks me.
Spellfall by Katherine Roberts
This is another fantasy-esque book. Half the book takes place in the real world, but they cross through a boundary into the other world. It is absolutely brilliant, and I love it.
Where the Truth Lies by Jessica Warman
This was a real treat of a book for me – I was expecting to like this one, but not love it to the extent I did. The story was a joy to read and I absolutely LOVE the cover.
The Siren by Kiera Cass
I have a love of mermaids. This is the best one I have ever read. It was simply beautiful and enchanting.
The Rise of Renegade X by Chelsea Campbell
This is a book that I have no idea why it isn’t huge. It’s got major boy appeal and it’s an awesome story. Plus superheroes? What is not to love?
Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus
Shadows Hills is a book that was a super original paranormal type story. It is a story that will sweep you up and not let you go til you finish reading.
