Hello lovely blog readers, I am a host again on the YA Spooktacular. And this year I am hosting HEIDI R. KLING’s story *cheers for Sea*. Anyways, here is her bit of Story 2!
“Stace!! Stace!!!” You scream. You know she’s down there. You can hear her terrified howls,
almost animalistic in their terror.
You grab the sharpest knife in the wooden base off the marble counter top and sprint down the
stairs to rescue your friend.
But the basement door is locked.
“Open up!! Open this door you freak!!”
“Help!” Stace yells.
“Stace! Hang on I’m coming!”
You look around, and grab the fire extinguisher off the wall.
Then, you channel your most badass instincts and cradling the tank like a bag of dynamite, you
heave both it and yourself against the door. The wood is thin and old and goes flying open with
the weight and power of your super human strength adrenaline rush. The fire extinguisher blows
and shoots everywhere. You tumble down the three concrete stairs and when your eyes finally
adjust to the dim light you are face to face with the most terrifying creature you’ve ever seen.
