Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother’s best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can’t stop bickering.
Forced together for her brother’s wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they’re forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of “accidents” as the family tries to prove their “spark” can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don’t strangle each other first…
Tempting the Best Man by J. Lynn was just, ya. I read straight through it on a day where I should have been doing a ton of other things. I loved the characters, the romance was hot, and there were so many adorable moments.
Right off the bat, I knew I was going to love this one. By about page 2, I was already falling for the story and loving the characters. I loved that the story goes back and forth between being told from Madison’s point of view to Chase’s . This was a really fast read – I just didn’t want to put it down.
The characters were so charming. They were all wonderful. I just loved Chase – he was one heck of a hottie. Chad was absolutely hilarious. All his little comments throughout the book were just so funny. The chemistry between Madison and Chase was perfect! I loved the scenes between them – there was a perfect balance between these super adorable scenes and some pretty hot scenes.
Hearing that J. Lynn is actually a pseudonym for Jennifer L. Armentrout made me excited to pick up her YA books. I haven’t read any, but I sure as heck will be after Temping the Best Man. Fans of contemporary romance will not want to miss this one – as it was a complete gem.
